Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026

This policy explains what EchoBridge collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. EchoBridge is a digital wellness platform combining an AI-powered app with the EchoRing biometric wearable.

EchoBridge is currently in early access. Account sign-up on this site runs as a local demo — accounts and credentials are stored only in your own browser, not on a live server. This policy describes how data is handled once the live product and backend are active, and will be updated as features roll out.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on which parts of EchoBridge you use, we may collect:

2. On-Device, Privacy-First AI

EchoBridge's core AI — echo-chamber detection, the Perspective Balancing Engine, and the Open-Mindedness Score — is designed to run on your device. Raw content-consumption data used for these features is processed locally wherever possible and is not sent to our servers without your explicit consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Biometric Data

Biometric data from the EchoRing is treated as sensitive personal data. It is used solely to calculate your Stress Index and wellness metrics inside the app, is never sold, and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. You can disconnect the EchoRing and delete associated biometric history from your account settings at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time from account settings or by emailing us — this removes your profile, usage history, and any connected biometric data from our systems, subject to any data we're legally required to retain.

7. Your Rights

If you're in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correct, and erase your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you're in the EU/EEA, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

Our website uses a minimal set of cookies for essential site functionality. See our Cookie Policy for details.

9. Children's Privacy

EchoBridge is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and where appropriate, communicated in-app.
